COPYING TEXT

1.      You have an Internet document open that you might want to print.

2.      Go to FILE – PRINT PREVIEW.  You find that it is many pages long.

3.      Look again at the document.

4.      Highlight the parts of the text (words) that you want.

5.      Right click and choose COPY.

6.      Minimize (not close) the screen. (hit the – sign)

7.      Open Microsoft Word.

8.      Place the cursor anywhere in the document.

9.      Right click and choose PASTE.

10. Your text should appear on the Word document.

11. Don’t forget to save your Word document by going to …File…Save As…Save in 3 ˝  Floppy (A) drive…give it a file name….and click Save.

 

 

COPYING IMAGES

1.      You see a picture that you would like to keep for future use.

2.      Right click ON the picture.

3.      Choose SAVE IMAGE AS.

4.      Save it to the 3 ˝ Floppy (A) drive.

5.      Give it any name you want in the Filename option.

6.      Click the SAVE button.
