Curriculum
| There are many ways to integrate technology
in the curriculum.
The
Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Education emphasizes
the need for students to gain technology skills while learning the
content of the curriculum. Students
should be given the opportunity to utilize and practice technology in
the context of the classroom. If
properly used, computers can contribute to powerful learning in the
classroom. Applying technology skills to subject matter
opens up new learning opportunities. Classroom teachers can
provide students with opportunities that build technology skills.
