The North Shore Regional Vocational School District provides
busing for all students. Bus routes and schedules are mailed to each student prior to the
opening of school. Every student is expected to board and leave the bus at his/her
designated stop. Students should be at the bus stop at least five minutes before scheduled
pick-up time. If an individual is reported for being unruly or for endangering the safety
of others, that person’s bus privilege may be revoked (See Discipline section.)
Students are the responsibility of the school from the time they get on the bus in the
morning until they get off the bus in the afternoon.
LATE TRANSPORTATION
A late bus will be scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, and
Thursday at 3:35 p.m. This bus allows students wishing to make up work or having to serve
detention to do so on those days. It also provides time for extra-curricular activities
that might be scheduled. Late transportation is also provided for athletic teams. These
buses leave at different times depending on the athletic activities.
Students must receive a bus pass from a staff member in order
to ride a late bus. The late bus pass must be presented to the driver before a student
will be allowed to ride the bus. Students who do not have late bus passes may not use late
transportation.
