Merger Steering Committee MinutesDecember 3, 2003Members Present: Wayne Marquis, Ira Singer, Mary Marrs, Robert Pariseu, Wayne Burton and Amelia O’Malley Others present: Jeff Wheeler, Bob Vogel |
The minutes of the October meeting were accepted.
Mr. Marquis thanked Mr. Vogel for the drawings and executive summary presented at the last meeting.
Mr. Pariseau stated that he has been speaking with neighbors and sharing the summaries and drawings.
Mr. Singer suggested the development of a standardized process by which we bring the status of the project to the communities.
It was suggested by Mr. Singer, that North Shore Regional School Committee members, accompanied by the Superintendent, present the project’s progress to date to their respective communities. Dr. Anderson, Lynnfield representative said that he would take the suggestion to the school committee at its next meeting.
Mr. Vogel stated that his company would prepare a formal video presentation for community meetings.
Mr. Singer moved that a presentation be developed and scheduled for presentation to elected officials who will be called upon to vote on this project. Mary Marrs seconded the motion. Motion carried
Mr. Singer amended the motion to state that the video would be presented to the three school committees before the elected officials. Motion carried
The meeting adjourned at 8:30.
