Student Council:

Offers practice in self government and serves as a channel for the expression of students' ideas and opinions.  Five members of the student council meet with the Principal monthly to discuss students' concerns and opinions.  Members of the student council sit on the School Council, Safety Committee and School Committee. 

The Student Council meets A-week on Tuesday at 7:40 a.m. in the library.

Accomplishments:

• Raised $400 to purchase Walmart Gift Cards for HAWC (Help for Abused Women and their Children).
• Community Service: Student Council members volunteer monthly at the Gloucester food pantry.
• Monthly meeting with Principal
• This spring the Student Council will focus on getting the word out through "the Pledge" about the dangers of being under the influence of durgs or alcohol and driving.
