Application Process

Students interested in applying to North Shore Technical High School for fall admission in grades 9 and 10 should:

• Obtain an application from their local school guidance counselor as early in the school year as possible. An application can also be obtained from a download (click on the application button) or by contacting the Guidance Department at North Shore Technical High School at 978-762-0001 Ext. 231.
   
• Return the completed application form to the local guidance counselor. This form requires student and parent signatures.
   
• The local guidance counselor will then complete their portion of the application form, providing all required documents which include grades, attendance, discipline and counselor recommendations and submit to the Admissions Committee at North Shore Technical High School by March 15th.
   
• Interviews will be scheduled at the applicants sending school.
   
• Completed applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
   
• Letters are mailed to all applicants in April, indicating the Admissions Committee’s decision to accept, deny, or wait list candidates.
   
• For non-resident applicants, letters are mailed after all resident applicants have been processed.
